We recently made a trip out to Sweden and Norway. Kana’s uni friend moved to a city called Piteå in northern Sweden so we went out to hang out. Her husband suggested we visit Lofoten in Norway so he made the 13 hour drive to take us.

Lofoten is beautiful. It’s a collection of islands. We all hung out as a group for two nights then Kana and I hung around for a few extra days.

First and foremost though I found it nuts our friend was okay driving for 13 hours haha. He said he likes driving but that is commitment.

We stayed in a beautiful house though I sadly didn’t take any photos of the place.

Lofoten is north of the arctic circle so it’s daylight the whole day this time of year. We did multiple hikes a day since they tended to be short. The weather was pretty gloomy most of the days which was a bit of a shame.

We also were in Lofoten during the World Cup so we spent the nights watching games. I tried going to a bar to see the Norway game but the bar was so full I couldn’t even see the tv. It didn’t help everyone is so tall.
