Kingsman

Kana and I went out for dinner and drinks with our friends last night and got to bed at aronud 3:00 AM. I woke up at around 8:30 AM and proceeded to wake up Kana at 9:30 so that we could catch our 10:20 AM showing of Kingsman at Shibuya Toho.

Kana isn't a huge fan of action movies so I assumed she really wouldn't enjoy Kingsman. We both wanted to see something in theatre and the only movie that I wanted to see was Kingsman: The Golden Circle. To prepare her for this we rented Kingsman: The Secret Service. I was very surprised when she enjoyed the movie. The first Kingsman is great. It is a ridiculous movie but a lot of fun and they don't take themselves too seriously. Also Colin Firth is great.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle follows a similar pattern as the first one. I think I enjoyed the second movie more than the first. Since everyone is already a spy they jump right into the movie with a crazy action scene. The movie continues to have some insane fights and a much bigger array of impressive actors.

If you liked the first Kingsman you should definitely watch the sequel. I am curious if they will make a third one.
